Philadelphia announces lifting of COVID-19 restrictions as more residents get vaccinated

Philadelphia will ease more coronavirus restrictions later this month and move toward a full reopening on June 11, officials announced Tuesday. COVID-19 cases are down nearly 50% in Philadelphia over the past two weeks, as more residents roll up their sleeves and get vaccinated. Pennsylvania will lift all mask mandates once 70% of the adult population is fully vaccinated. At the current vaccination pace, that could happen next month.
