How to sign up for push alerts from The Inquirer

Opt in to get the latest news pushed directly to your web browser or mobile device.

The Inquirer brings you essential news when you need it most. One way we do that is by sending push notifications to your mobile devices and desktop — but you have to opt in first. Here’s how to do it:

To get push alerts on desktop

  1. Visit this page — inquirer.com/coronavirus — from a Chrome, Firefox, or Edge browser on your computer, or by using Chrome on an Android device.

  2. “Allow” notifications when you get the prompt. (If you don’t get the prompt, try turning off your pop-up blocker or ad blocker, and refresh the page.)

To get push alerts on your iPhone

  1. Download The Inquirer’s app.

  2. Allow push notifications when prompted.
