Man found dead from gunshot wound in Kingsessing

Authorities are investigating the death of a 19-year-old man who was found shot to death in Philadelphia’s Kingsessing neighborhood Monday night.

The man, who was not identified, was found by a friend in the bedroom of a home on South Frazier Street near Kingsessing Avenue just after 8 p.m. Police say the victim was discovered with a gunshot wound to his head in a second-floor bedroom of the home.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. No arrests have been made.
