For the week of April 2-8, "House" attracted 2.74 million DVR users after its initial airing, "Lost," 2.47 million viewers and "American Idol," 2.45 million.

Nielsen noted that "The Office," while attracting far fewer viewers, had the highest gain percentagewise, with an increase of more than 31 percent in its audience when DVR playback was added.

Barbaro's story

"Barbaro: A Nation's Horse" is scheduled to air on NBC Sunday (5 p.m., Channel 10) on what would have been the late Kentucky Derby winner's fourth birthday.

The special will include footage of the horse's new brother, born last week, said NBC.

The 'Puppy' anniversary

Oxygen will mark the 10th anniversary of the coming out of Ellen DeGeneres' "Ellen" character on Monday with a marathon of the show beginning at 8 a.m. and culminating in the one-hour "Puppy Episode" at 1 p.m., said the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation.

DeGeneres herself came out in Time magazine 10 years ago this month. *
