HARRISBURG - A Bucks County investment banker and lawyer was sworn in yesterday as state treasurer, filling the post vacated when Democrat Bob Casey was elected to the U.S. Senate.

Robin Wiessmann, of Newtown, has managed pension funds and advised state treasurers or comptrollers in at least eight states.

She was appointed by Gov. Rendell and confirmed unanimously by the state Senate.
