SYDNEY, Australia - Actor Sylvester Stallone pleaded guilty today to bringing vials of a restricted muscle-building hormone into Australia.

Lawyers for the 60-year-old star of the "Rocky" and "Rambo" movies entered the plea before Sydney's Darling Center Local Court on behalf of Stallone, who was charged with importing a banned substance.

Stallone did not show up.

A customs search of Stallone's bags during a Feb. 16 visit to Sydney to promote his latest movie, "Rocky Balboa," revealed 48 vials of the human-growth-hormone product, Jintropin.

The court hearing Stallone's case can only impose a maximum fine of $22,000.
