IT'S A CHEAP laugh, but it is funny.
Maxim listed Manti Te'o's imaginary girlfriend on its "Hot 100" list.
Te'o, of course, is the Notre Dame linebacker who made headlines when it was discovered his long-term girlfriend wasn't real.
Now, she's making headlines of her own.
Te'o was drafted in the second round - No. 38 overall - by the San Diego Chargers. His girlfriend was selected 69th, which is amazing, considering she beat out 31 "real" women.
On the mag's website is a photo of each hottie and her name. Te'o's girl is shown as an invisible babe in a bikini, and is listed as "Manti Te'o's Fake Girlfriend."
There is also a short bio that reads: "After Manti Te'o's fake girlfriend hoax of 2012, we think it might be nice to have an invisible girl of our own to love. Why not? She's got a ton of great qualities, including looking awesome in a bikini."
In case you care, Miley Cyrus was No. 1, followed by Selena Gomez and Rihanna. Nothing fake about those three.
It's settled: The Washington Redskins will not change their nickname. That, according to team owner Daniel Snyder.
"We will never change the name of the team," Snyder told USA Today. "It's that simple. NEVER - you can use caps.
"As a lifelong Redskins fan, and I think that the Redskins fans understand the great tradition and what it's all about and what it means, so we feel pretty fortunate to be just working on next season."
