Comcast SportsNet wins regional Edward R. Murrow Award

'Searching for Wilt' story was produced Brad Nau with John Boruk doing the voice.

COMCAST SportsNet won a 2014 regional Edward R. Murrow Award for its story "Searching for Wilt," a story of a small-town Pennsylvania mayor looking to confirm a rumor that Chamberlain had been in his town.

It is the sixth Murrow Award won by CSN. The national Murrow award winner will be named in October.

"Searching for Wilt" was shot and produced by executive producer/special projects Brad Nau with John Boruk doing the voice. The story is based in Richlandtown, about 60 miles northwest of Philadelphia.

"To be recognized for something that you love to do is quite rewarding," Nau said. "This was one of those stories that had it all . . . mystery, history and a sense of community."
