At 4 p.m., the NFL trade deadline passed and — unless there's a late announcement of a last-minute trade that got in just under before the buzzer — it appears Howie Roseman and the Eagles like what they have.
While a handful of other deals were struck around the league, the Birds stood pat at the trade deadline for the second year in a row.

Report: Rams trade CB Tre'Davious White to the Ravens
Another Pro Bowl cornerback is on the move. Earlier, it was Marshon Lattimore going from New Orleans to Washington, and now the Rams are reportedly sending two-time Pro Bowler Tre'Davious White to the Ravens, who desperately need help in the secondary as they're currently last in the NFL in passing yards allowed.

Fangio 'pleased' with current defense ahead of the deadline
With the 4 p.m. trade deadline looming, Vic Fangio said that he hadn’t heard if the team was involved in a prospective deal as of Tuesday morning, leading him to assume that the Eagles weren’t involved in anything imminent.
Just as he stated last week, the Eagles defensive coordinator reiterated his confidence in his existing group of defensive players, a unit that ranks third in the league in yards against and ninth in points against.
“I’m pleased with what we’ve got and we’ll continue to move forward with it,” Fangio said.

Cowboys reportedly trade for Panthers receiver
Not long after Jerry Jones said on the radio in Dallas that the Cowboys would be looking to add a wide receiver before the trade deadline, the team did just that. They'll reportedly acquire Jonathan Mingo and a seventh-round pick from the Panthers for a fourth-round pick.

Dallas looking to add a receiver as Dak Prescott hits IR
Dak Prescott injured his hamstring in the Cowboys' loss to the Falcons on Sunday and had already been ruled out for this week's game against the Eagles. On Tuesday, Jerry Jones said on 105.3 The Fan in Dallas that the team plans to put Prescott on Injured Reserve, meaning he'll miss at least the next four games.
Despite that, Jones said his team is looking to add a wide receiver at the trade deadline. CeeDee Lamb injured his shoulder Sunday but appears to have avoided anything serious and could return in time for the Eagles game. Still, despite that and a 3-5 record, it sounds like Jones plans on being a deadline buyer.

Could other teams look to acquire Bryce Huff from Eagles?
Edge rusher Bryce Huff was one of Howie Roseman's big offseason additions, especially after trading Haason Reddick to the Jets. But Huff, who signed a three-year, $51 million deal, has struggled so far this season and has played a limited role, including just six snaps on Sunday against the Jaguars.
That's led to some speculation that, while the Eagles are potentially looking to add a pass rusher, other teams could be looking to pry Huff away from the Birds.
“There’s certainly going to be interest in guys like Bryce Huff, who was one of the Eagles big free agent signings and played all of six snaps [Sunday] after getting his hand apparently banged up in warmups or something," Tom Pelissero said Monday on The Rich Eisen Show. "That’s a name I would think is going to get some potential action. … Edge rusher is a premium position. There are a lot of teams that are going to be in that market."
Lions trade for Za'Darius Smith, a potential Eagles target
By all accounts, pass rusher is one of the top needs for the Eagles at the trade deadline. And Browns veteran defensive end Za'Darius Smith was a player many, including our own writers, identified as a potential target for the Eagles.
Well, you can take him off the board, according to multiple reports. And worse yet for the Birds, he's going to one of the best teams in the NFC: the Detroit Lions.
So what did Smith cost the needy Lions, who lost star pass rusher Aidan Hutchinson earlier in the season? Not that much, according to reports ...

Eagles could be looking for an edge rusher
Injured or not, edge rusher Bryce Huff has not been the player the Eagles thought they were getting when they signed him to a three-year, $51.1 million deal this offseason hoping he could be an every-down edge rusher and replace the production they would eventually lose when they traded away Haason Reddick.
Huff entered Sunday with just 1½ sacks after posting a career-high 10 sacks last season. And he entered Sunday having played more than 50% of the defensive snaps in a game just twice. He played just 38% of the snaps in last week’s win in Cincinnati.
The timing of Sunday was even more interesting because of what lies ahead. The NFL trade deadline is Tuesday, and acquiring some pass-rushing help is something the Eagles could consider even as their four-game winning streak has coincided with their pass rush coming alive.

Have the Eagles ever made a trade at the deadline?
Yes, but they’ve been hit and miss in terms of their impact.
Probably the best deal the Eagles made ahead of the deadline came in 2013, when they traded defensive tackle Isaac Sopoaga and a late draft pick to the New England Patriots for a fifth-round pick in the 2014 draft. That part is forgettable, but during the offseason the Birds sent that pick to the New Orleans Saints for running back Darren Sproles, who became a three-time Pro Bowler for the Eagles.
Leading up to the 2017 trade deadline, the Eagles added running back Jay Ajayi, who became an important part of the Birds’ offense during their Super Bowl run. Ajayi suffered a torn ACL during Week 5 in 2018, and was ultimately released by the Eagles during the 2019 season.

What to know about the NFL trade deadline
The NFL trade deadline is Tuesday, Nov. 5, at 4 p.m. Eastern.
If it seems later than last year's deadline, that's because it is. NFL owners voted to move the trade deadline to Week 9 instead of Week 8, where it's been since 2012.
Once the deadline passes, teams can’t make trades until the start of the new league year, which is 4 p.m. on March 12, 2024. It’s also the date teams can begin signing free agents from the previous year.
