Just two months after she releases her debut album, Reneé Rapp plans to meet fans at the Fillmore on Oct. 24.

The singer hard-launched her “Snow Hard Feelings” tour on Friday with 30-plus national and international stops, including Philadelphia.

Rapp has a busy schedule ahead — she will release her long-awaited first full-length album, Snow Angel, on Aug. 18, and head out on tour, which kicks off on Sept. 15 in Houston.

You may know Rapp as the sarcastic, judgmental Leighton in the HBO comedy series The Sex Lives of College Girls. Or maybe from Broadway musicals Spring Awakening and Mean Girls. Or maybe from TikTok, where the 23-year-old actress-singer has built a following of over a million fans.

Snow Angel follows last year’s Everything to Everyone EP. Rapp spent four months writing and spitting “out all my concepts, all my ballads, my f— you’s and my I love you’s,” she wrote on Twitter.

But on May 8 at “probably” 11 p.m., she decided to change the album’s direction.

“A little over a year ago, I had a traumatic experience … I explained and recounted the situation in sessions with collaborators, but it just wasn’t sticking,” she tweeted. “Then, that night, May 8, he [her producer Alexander 23] told me ‘I really want to write that snow song. I think it’s good, really good.’ So, we stayed up. We wrote it that night and recorded it the next day.”

The song released on June 9, offering a glimpse into what may be a soft, yet fervent night at the Fillmore.
