This bronze statue of Bert Parks - long-time host of the annual Miss America Pageant - stands in front of the Sheraton Atlantic City Convention Center Hotel, the Jersey shore venue where the pageant played out annually for decades. Parks host the event from 1955 to 1979, singing the extravaganza’s traditional theme song, “There she is...”.
