A man’s body was found Sunday morning at am Amtrak power substation station in Philadelphia’s Port Richmond section.

Police received a call just after 9:30 a.m. Sunday about a body found on the grounds of the former Port Richmond Generating station at Delaware Avenue and Lewis Street, just south of the Betsy Ross Ridge.

Police on Monday said the man, who remained unidentified, had been electrocuted.

While the iconic power generating station has been closed since 1984, the site houses the Amtrak substation where the body was found, officials said. Amtrak police also are investigating.
