A 55-year-old man was shot and killed early Sunday morning in the Penn Area section of East Germantown, Philadelphia police said.
The man was shot once in the chest on the 800 block of East Chelten Avenue at 3:06 a.m., police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene shortly afterward.
Police did not release the man’s name, and no arrests had been made Sunday.
