Man, 25, fatally struck by driver who ran a red light in East Falls

The victim was driving a minibike before being struck and killed Sunday evening.

A 25-year-old man on a minibike was fatally struck by a driver who ran a red light Sunday night in Philadelphia’s East Falls section.

Police said the 29-year-old driving the vehicle was traveling northbound on the 3200 block of Henry Avenue at about 5 p.m. when he struck the man on the minibike.

The victim was transported to Temple Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
