Man hit and killed by SEPTA train in Langhorne
The man was struck after stepping onto the tracks, SEPTA said.
An unidentified man was hit and killed by a SEPTA train Friday night after stepping onto the tracks north of Langhorne Station.
The southbound West Trenton Line train was approaching the station when the man walked onto its path around 8:05 p.m., said SEPTA spokesperson Andrew Busch.
Medics pronounced him dead at the scene.
The accident caused delays in both directions, officials said. SEPTA and local police were investigating.
