Man fatally stabbed in head and neck in Philadelphia
A possible murder weapon was recovered.
A man described by Philadelphia Police as a “John Doe” in his 40s was stabbed multiple times in the head and once in his neck Wednesday night on a street near Chinatown.
The attack happened about 7:30 p.m. at North 9th and Cuthbert Streets.
The victim was transported to Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 8:37 p.m.
No arrests were made, but police said a possible weapon was recovered.
