A 21-year-old man was fatally wounded in a shooting Monday night near the Clothespin sculpture in Center City, police said.

Just after 6:30 p.m., the victim, Khaleaf Sistrunk, was sitting on a yellow dirt bike parked on the sidewalk at 15th and Market Streets and was talking to at least one other person when the attacker pulled up in a small white hatchback car, said Chief Inspector Scott Small. The perpetrator walked over to Sistrunk and fired at least 11 rounds, shooting the victim in the face, neck, and chest. Sistrunk ran a short way and collapsed. The shooter then drove away.

Police transported Sistrunk to Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 7:17 p.m.

Small said the entire incident was captured on surveillance video.
