Man killed in East Germantown shooting

The victim was shot on the 5600 block of Ogontz Street.

A 31-year-old man was killed in a shooting Thursday evening in East Germantown, police said.

The victim was shot multiple times around 5:31 p.m. on the 5600 block of Ogontz Avenue. He was taken to Albert Einstein Medical Center by police and pronounced dead at 6:03 p.m.

Police made no arrests and gave no motive for the crime.
