At the scene Wednesday morning, police had cordoned the area around the dining structure on Fourth Street with caution tape. Tables and chairs were overturned, and broken pieces of wood from the structure lay in the street.
Meanwhile, outdoor dining at neighboring restaurants elsewhere on the block continued.
Following the incident, Cafe La Maude posted on Instagram that it would remain open for the rest of the day. Further details about the crash were not available.
