Police said six people were injured Wednesday morning after a vehicle crashed into an outdoor dining setup outside Cafe La Maude near Fourth and Brown Streets in Northern Liberties.

According to a Philadelphia Police Department spokesperson, none of the injuries was life-threatening. The incident occurred shortly before 11 a.m. and one vehicle was involved, police said.

At the scene Wednesday morning, police had cordoned the area around the dining structure on Fourth Street with caution tape. Tables and chairs were overturned, and broken pieces of wood from the structure lay in the street.

Meanwhile, outdoor dining at neighboring restaurants elsewhere on the block continued.

Following the incident, Cafe La Maude posted on Instagram that it would remain open for the rest of the day. Further details about the crash were not available.

Last month, a truck hit an empty wooden outdoor dining setup outside Tria Cafe at 18th and Sansom Streets. No injuries were reported.
