SEPTA bus strikes, kills pedestrian in Fishtown

One man is dead after being struck by a SEPTA bus in Fishtown early Tuesday morning.

The Route 43 bus struck the man around 5:40 a.m. at Frankford and Delaware Avenues, a SEPTA spokesperson said. There were no passengers on the bus at the time.

The victim, who has not yet been identified, was taken to an area hospital. He was later pronounced dead.

There are no service delays on the route. The incident is under investigation.
