Man, 27, shot and killed in West Philadelphia
The victim was not identified by police.
A 27-year-old man was shot and killed Sunday night in West Philadelphia, police said.
The man, who was not identified by authorities, was struck by gunfire four times at about 6:45 p.m. near the intersection of South 64th Street and Greenway Avenue. He was transported by medics to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center where he was pronounced dead at 8:47 p.m., police said.
Investigators offered no motive for the shooting. No suspects were apprehended.
