West Philadelphia woman answers door, is stabbed 30 times
Southwest Detectives are investigating the brutal attack.

A West Philadelphia woman was in critical condition Saturday afternoon following an attack that left her with 30 knife wounds, police said.
The victim, 25, answered her front door at 2:45 a.m. on the 6100 block of Walton Avenue, in the city’s Cobbs Creek neighborhood. An unknown male stabbed her dozens of times throughout her body, according to the police.
Bloodied and injured, she was able to call police for help. Medics rushed her to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center.
Detectives from the Southwest District of Philadelphia Police Department are investigating.
