Creighton resigns as Carroll hoops coach

Chuck Creighton has stepped down as Archbishop Carroll's girls' basketball coach after eight successful seasons.

Creighton guided the Patriots to a 178-48 record (.788 winning percentage), three Catholic League championships, and two PIAA state titles (Class AAAA in 2012 and AAA in 2009).

"I would like to thank the Carroll administration, my assistant coaches, the stat man, and the managers for all their support over their years," Creighton said. "Most importantly, I'd like to thank all the great young ladies that I've had the opportunity to coach."
