Posting this for long-time (like, from Day One) commenter Archimedes, a big fan of Dave Brubeck, the famed jazzman who died today at age 91. Trying to pretend I'm a newspaper reporter so it's hard to blog much before 5 p.m., as I am trying to contact "sources" via my crank telephone...come back tonight for commentary.
