Gaza and the definition of insanity

For a couple of days now I've grappled with what to post on the situation in

. The one idea I've read and can wholly endorse is that

. Beyond that, everybody needs a better policy than the one they've got, everybody needs to stop the wanton killing of civilians. You know, I'm about to turn the big 5-0 in a few weeks, and in my entire lifetime I've seen nothing in the Middle East but people doing the same violent things again and again, and expecting a different result each time.
