Flood Car Sold to Happy Consumer With Open Eyes

The NJ Consumer Affairs Division has warned used-car buyers to be wary because thousands of vehicles were damaged in the floods caused by Hurricane Sandy. But at least one buyer, who picked up a new Lexus, cheap, is happy. He was told that the car went underwater when the storm hit the Jersey shore, but he did his homework and detected only minimal damage on the floorboard.
