City Must Submit Report to PICA on Police Contract Costs

The Pennsylvania Intergovernmental Cooperation Authority -- which oversees the city budget -- today sent a letter to the mayor reminding him that under PICA rules, the city must provide a report on the impact of the police arbitration award by January 4.

Here's a copy of the letter. This means we may see some more detail from the city on the costs of the police contract. Also, once the award is final, the city must revise the five-year financial plan to show how they'll pay for it.
