Got a parking ticket? You can now fight it online
The city has launched a new website that allows people to appeal parking tickets online and includes the ability to upload documents and a guide to the rules of the parking ticket appeals process.
Ever dream of the day when you could fight your parking tickets online and avoid the hassle of traveling to the Bureau of Administrative Adjudication?
Well that day is now a reality.
The city has launched a new website that allows people to appeal parking tickets online and includes the ability to upload documents and a guide to the rules of the parking ticket appeals process.
"What will happen hopefully is we will divert people who have simple documented evidence from spending time in our lovely lobby," said Jeremiah Connors, Director of the Bureau of Administrative Adjudication.
The ability to appeal parking tickets online is the result of a City Council bill that passed in the spring and was sponsored by Councilman Bill Green. Before anyone who wanted to appeal a parking ticket had to show up for a BAA hearing.
