Is Rendell "Just Too Attention Starved" In Eagles Dust-Up?

You may have heard about this: The Philadelphia Eagles postponed a home game Sunday evening due to an impending snowstorm and Gov. Rendell thought that reflected the wussification of America, where men used to toss around the pigskin no matter what the weather offered on game day.

You may have heard about this:  The Philadelphia Eagles postponed a home game Sunday evening due to an impending snowstorm and Gov. Rendell thought that reflected the wussification of America, where men used to toss around the pigskin no matter what the weather offered on game day.

Legendary play-by-play man Al Michaels, speaking half way through the first quarter of last night's loss to the Minnesota Vikings, said a "senior Eagles official" told him Rendell comments reflected that he was "just too attention starved."

We're still waiting on confirmation from the People's Republic of China that a football team in that country, as Rendell claimed during his complaints, would have played on in the 12.4 inches of snow that fell during the storm.  We'd also like confirmation that there are teams that play American-style football in China.
