Councilwoman Maria Quinones-Sanchez and Council President Darrell Clarke today are moving ahead with their agreement on how to structure the proposed Philadelphia land bank, clearing the way for the long-debated measure to become law before Jan. 1.
Also this morning, the land bank's initial board of directors was revealed. There are five Council appointees, five administration appointees and an 11th member selected by the other 10 appointees.
- Mayor Nutter's appointees: Michael Koonce, Brian Abernathy, Rick Sauer, Majeedah Rasheed, Don McGrogan
- City Council appointees: Herbert Wetzel, Jennifer Kates, Courtney Voss, Bill Salas, Ken Scott
- Jointly selected 11th member: Paul Badger
