Mayor Nutter stopped by the lunch crowd at Relish, where he said he was optimistic about voter turnout.

"It's not a monsoon out there," said Nutter, who is expected to easily beat challenger T. Milton Street. "The thing about rain and voting, people still go to work when it rains. No one stays home they go to work."

Nutter said the overall voter expectation is light to moderate but some neighborhoods with contested races could have higher turnout rates. Nutter added that although he could not call the races he was hopeful his endorsed candidates would win.
