Primary Day -- Voter ID info

The state's new law requiring identification from all voters -- instead of just first-timers at a polling place -- doesn't officially go into place until the November election. As part of a practise run of the law, you'll be asked for identification today at the polls, but can still vote without it if you're not new to the polling location.

But the law will change how we vote in Pennsylvania and it's important to get educated. We recommend you read over this primer from the Committee of Seventy with everything you need to know about the law.

If you have any problems at the polls today, call Seventy's hotline at 1-866-OUR-VOTE (1-866-687-8683).
