Rocky Press Conference for Knox

Philly businessman Tom Knox -- a former mayoral candidate now running for governor -- had a rough ride yesterday in Harrisburg with the press. Knox held a press conference in the state Capitol about the pending expiration of utility rate caps, an issue he has been championing.

But Harrisburg reporters started asking him why he was holding what seemed to be a political event at the Capitol building. It pretty much went downhile from there. Check out this great report from the Allentown Morning Call's John Micek.

Knox insisted he wasn't there to campaign, but to raise awareness about utility rates. But it's funny how he only gets onto these issues when he's a candidate. Do you remember when he was running for mayor and started circulating petitions about gun violence?
