Cops: strangler linked to third murder

Police officials confirmed tonight what many suspected all along: Casey Mahoney, who was found raped and strangled in a lot on Dec. 15, was murdered by the Kensington Strangler. Homicide Capt. James Clark said DNA evidence has positively linked the serial killer to the deaths of Mahoney, Elaine Goldberg and Nicole Piacentini. A $37,000 reward is being offered for tips that help catch the maniac killer. Anyone with information is asked to call 215-686-TIPS.
