Teen shot, hospitalized in Southwest Philadelphia

An 18-year-old man was hospitalized after being shot in the arm in Southwest Philadelphia Thursday night, police said.

The unidentified man was shot on 58th Street near Chester at about 8:40 p.m., and was taken to the Hospital at the University of Pennsylvania. He was listed in stable condition.

Police Chief Inspector Scott Small said investigators  from the Southwest Detectives Division were questioning a possible suspect just before 11 p.m.
