Buckminster’s in Point Breeze to close Saturday

Following an opening in late 2015, Point Breeze "neo-bistro" Buckminster's will hold its final night of service Saturday, June 11, owner Michael Pasquarello announced Friday.

13th Street Kitchens also owns Cafe Lift, Prohibition Taproom, Bufad, and Kensington Quarters.

Shortly after its opening, Craig LaBan reviewed the bistro, granting it two bells of his standard possible four. Of particular note was Marzinsky's approach to oysters, as well as the restaurant's pierogi and stuffed cabbage.

Prior to Buckminster's, the restaurant's building housed Burg's Lounge, a neighborhood bar that closed in 2012.
