Fat Head’s Brewery will once again make its way to Philadelphia next week to locally debut one of their most beloved beers.
Fat Head's Brewery will once again make its way to Philadelphia next week to locally debut one of their most beloved beers.
Based out of Ohio, Pittsburgh, and Portland, Oregon, Fat Head's first arrived in Philly in mid-January offering several beers on tap at local watering holes, including Sunshine Daydream, Bumble Berry, and Head Hunter. Now, it appears we can add Hop Juju — their highly coveted Imperial IPA — to the list.
Brewed with Citra, Cascase, Centennial, and Chinook hops, Hop Juju is packed with citrusy flavors and aromas, which are paired right alongside tropical and pine notes. The resulting brew weighs in at 9 percent ABV, and 100 IBUs. Currently, the brew has a community rating of 97/100 on Beer Advocate.
To spread the love, Fat Head's reps will be on hand to tap kegs of Hop Juju at several area bars. It all starts Tuesday, February 23 with a lunchtime tapping at Jose Pistolas, which will be followed up that same day at 7 p.m. by a tapping at Varga Bar.
