Forgotten Boardwalk Brewing opening in Cherry Hill

Jamie Queli is behind the taproom and brewery, whose whimsical setting is straight out of the Jersey shore, including skeeball machines, fun house mirrors, a boardwalk spin wheel and a 30-barrel brewing system.

Mark Oct. 11 on your calendars for the grand opening of Forgotten Boardwalk Brewing Company at 1940 Olney Ave. in Cherry Hill.

Jamie Queli is behind the taproom and brewery, whose whimsical setting is straight out of the Jersey shore, including skeeball machines, fun house mirrors, a boardwalk spin wheel and a 30-barrel brewing system. (It's the former Flying Fish brewery.)

The tap room's eight tap handles will have four Forgotten Boardwalk mainstay beers, plus four brewers' choice beers, all of which are produced on premises.

Head brewer David Bronstein spent eight years with Sly Fox Brewing Company.

Visitors may also purchase Forgotten Boardwalk's two flagship beers in cans, to go. The two flagship beers are "1916 Shore Shiver," an India pale ale, and "What the Butler Saw," an undressed wit beer.

Open-house hours will be noon to 8 p.m. There will be food available provided by truck vendors.
