Hershey’s giving away free cookie bars in Center City

Hershey's has set up shop in Center City, where reps will give away samples of Cookie Layer Crunch bars through Tuesday afternoon.

The chocolate company will give away free samples of the cookie bars at City Hall and 30th Street Station from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. today.

Hershey's Cookie Crunch Bars are available in three flavors: Mint, vanilla créme, and caramel. Ordinarily, the bars run $4.19 for a package of nine pars, $2.89 for a five-piece "XL Bar," $1.69 for a "King Size Bar," or $0.99 for a small, two-piece bar.

For those who can't make the giveaway, Hershey's is offering a $1 coupon for the purchase of two small Caramel Cookie Layer Crunch bars.
