Magazine gets a kick out of Union burger

The Surf and Turf Burger, sold during Philadelphia Union games at PPL Park, was today named “Best new menu item” and a Silver Spoon Award winner by Venues Today, an international magazine covering the sports and entertainment industry.

The Surf and Turf Burger, sold during Philadelphia Union games at PPL Park, was today named "Best new menu item" and a Silver Spoon Award winner by Venues Today, an international magazine covering the sports and entertainment industry.

Ovations Food Services executive chef Richard Kalma and crew top the burger with tempura shrimp, creole seasoning and pickles.

Last year, Venues Today awarded Ovations its “Best New Concept in Food and Drink” for The Kitchen Experience.
