Noted Chicago chef visiting Abe Fisher for a dinner
Chef Lee Wolen of Chicago's Michelin-starred Boka restaurant will bring his duck to town.
Chef Lee Wolen of Chicago's Michelin-starred Boka restaurant will take his duck on the road to visit Abe Fisher restaurant (1623 Sansom St.) for a $60-a-head dinner Sept. 26.
Wolen, former sous chef at Eleven Madison Park, is doing the guest-chef appearance at the request of chef/co-owner Michael Solomonov, who calls Wolen "a supremely talented chef and extremely kind person."
At Boka, Wolen is known for his old-time meat dishes, a concept that resonates with Abe Fisher chef Yehuda Sichel.
