Third time was the charm for Beth Royals of Richmond, Va., who won this year's $1 million grand prize in the Pillsbury Bake-Off contest, as announced on ABC's The View.

She had the idea to cut Pillsbury pie crusts into small pieces, bake them crispy, and enrobe them in white chocolate, toffee and peanuts.

Royals was a finalist in the previous two Bake-Off contests. A contestant is limited to three attempts.
