Red Owl Tavern hosts a Month of 1,000 Pies to benefit Philabundance

If you need a spot for your holiday pie, Red Owl Tavern (433 Chestnut St.) should be your destination.

Why?

Throughout Thursday, Nov. 26, the restaurant teams up with Philabundance to host a Month of 1,000 Pies – when every time Red Owl sells a pie, one is donated to the nonprofit organization.

The sweet baked dish is priced at $12 or two for $20, and flavors offered include apple and pumpkin.

If you don't want the full pie and still want to donate, you can just order a slice from the restaurant and 50% of the proceeds will go toward Philabundance.

Guests can place an order either by calling 215-923-2267 or by just showing up.
