Dave Magrogan continues his restaurant-opening binge with Dec. 4's expected opening of Red Star Craft House at Exton Square Mall. It will be his 16th restaurant, after four Harvest Seasonal Grill & Wine Bars; four Doc Magrogan's Oyster Houses; two Bar Rossa Ristorantes; and five Kildare's Irish Pubs.

Red Star - serving wood-fired, brick oven pizzas, appetizers, salads, tacos, burgers, and entrees, plus 50 American drafts on tap and 100 beers in bottles - will open for dinner only throughout its first weekend. Lunch will start on Monday, Dec. 8. Menu is here.

Red Star will have 150 dining seats and 40 cafe-style seats inside, but the killer feature will be a 3,000-square-foot patio with an outdoor bar, fireplaces, landscaping and 80 outdoor seats. "Red Star' is a play on the "Stella Rossa" name that Magrogan recently changed to Bar Rossa after a legal dustup. 

Executive Chef is Carmen Cappello's background includes Brasserie Perrier, The Wishing Well, the Moshulu and the Blue Bell Inn.
