Tonight: Hungry Pigeon preview at Garage

Scott Schroeder and Pat O'Malley's Queen Village restaurant, Hungry Pigeon, is opening soon at 743 S. Fourth St. in Queen Village.

The chefs will be at Garage (1231 E. Passyunk Ave.) on Wednesday, Dec. 23 to put out a preview, starting at 6 p.m.

They'll offer two beer cocktails:

Ruso Blanco
Death by coconut, Demon Rum, horchata

Morning Beer
Pinner, tequilla, blood orange grenadine, fresh orange

And food:

Christmas Pig Tacos (2) $8
Red chile carnitas, avocado, beer pickled epozote

Marinated Squash Salad $5 wheatberries, queso fresco, bitter greens, cilantro dressing (vegetarian/can be vegan)

Spiced Rum Banana Pudding $4
Mexican wedding cookies
