Valley Forge Casino's pool goes tiki this year

Reggae nights and "dive-in" movies are part of the entertainment.

For its third season, Valley Beach Poolside Club at Valley Forge Casino Resort (1160 First Ave., King of Prussia) has parked a taco truck by the pool, near a new tiki bar.

There's also a new private beach for special events and new food/drink menus. Also, on June 18, reggae nights will run every Sunday and dive-in movie nights will start June 22.

For the 2017 season, membership is no longer required; $20 day passes are available, first come/first served. Access to the upper-level bar and taco truck is free during the day, and a $10 cover applies on entertainment nights after 8 p.m. The $10 cover also includes access to the Vault nightclub on property.

On Memorial Day weekend, the Poolside Club opens at 10 a.m. and runs nightly entertainment. Regular hours through Labor Day are 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday to Thursday and 10 a.m. to 2 a.m. Friday and Saturday.
