What to do at Philly Farm and Food Fest
Aside from the 150 vendors (an interesting cross-section of the local food scene for sure), there is a full schedule of workshops, with instruction on earthy matters such as composting, backyard chicken basics, and even Italian cooking.
Philly goes down on the farm, in the city, on Sunday, April 12 with the annual Philly Farm and Food Fest.
The event - hosted by Fair Food and Pennsylvania Association for Sustainable Agriculture (PASA) - runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Convention Center at 1101 Arch St.
Tickets start at just $20 per person, with children 12 and under free.
In its fourth year, the fest is one of the country's biggest single-day food festivals.
