Rendell says Obama bungled handling Blago

Our guv's tongue has done it again.

Ed Rendell made national news again this a.m. by taking on Pres-elect Obama's handling of the Illinois Gov. Blago brouhaha.

"They have never been in an executive position before," Rendell said on MSNBC's "Morning Joe." "The rule of thumb is whatever you did, say it and get it over with and make it a one-day story as opposed to a three-week story. Politicians are always misjudging the intelligence of the American people."

The story comes from The Politico, with coverage by former Inky staffer Carrie Budoff Brown.

And the video is below. Rendell comes on in about 30 seconds. The key comments start at about 8 minutes. But the whole segment is entertaining. Even informative!
