Brad Pitt: New face of Chanel No. 5

The 48-year-old actor has been tapped to star in the legendary scent's upcoming ad campaign.

48-year-old actor Brad Pitt has been tapped to star in the legendary scent's upcoming ad campaign.

This is the first time in the history of Chanel No. 5 that a man has been chosen to represent the scent.

Reports indicate that Pitt will be in London to film the commercial within the next week, and say the newly-engaged actor will be paid seven figures to star in the campaign.

He joins the likes of Nicole Kidman and Audrey Tatou who have previously starred in Chanel No. 5 ads. Other actors who represent the scent divisions of major fashion houses include James Franco for Gucci by Gucci, Chris Evans for Gucci Envy and Matthew McConaughey for Light Blue by Dolce & Gabbana.

With that said, we still believe the "Old Spice Guy" Isaiah Mustafa deserves the most credit when it comes to selling scents.
