Healthy family recipe: Winter Fruit Salad

Make this fun and funky fruit salad as an alternative to processed holiday sweets this year.

Make this fun and funky fruit salad as an alternative to processed holiday sweets this year. The colorful mix of fruits will brighten up your table and your family's taste buds.

You can also serve this recipe alongside traditional desserts to help you consume smaller portions and cut back on unwanted calories. Take a smaller, 6 inch dessert plate and fill half of it with fruit salad.  You will find that there won't even be room on the plate for a second piece of pie.
